Can this question ever have a correct answer? This might be a discussion, but does not pose a question to which you can select an answer - unless this is it ;).

There certainly are a huge number of plugins, some of which are fabulous and some of which are a waste of time. A poll on plugins might be interesting, but this is not the website for that.

You are formally right. But on Q&A sites, like on http://stackoverflow.com, there are some "fun", almost pointless discussions.

That is true, but through questions like this which others have asked on stackoverflow.com I have discovered many helpful tools that I did not know existed
