No, all the logic of this component is focused to be in the same page. To make it works cross frame you should split code in the two pages and most of the logic should be reviwed.

I'm using iframe to open pages without refresh mbMenu. My deal is to minimize load time pages in my system, because the rules to create this menu are complex, according with users permissions.
