First of all Matteo, thank you so much for sharing a first class component such as the mbExtruder with us all.

Issue 1:

I'm having an annoying issue in Safari 4.0.4, whereby when the "home" link is clicked on the mbExtruder menu, SOMETIMES a background image defined as:

<div id ="background" class="background"><img id="bkgd" src="images/demo_background.jpg" width="1000" height="750" class="bgmaximage" />

is not being displayed. The img class, "bgmaximage" is required so that the image may be resized through the maxImage.js. Thinking that either the maxImage.js or the queryLoader.js script may have been contributing to the image non-display problem I disabled both but this did not change the initial problem described.

If the page is refreshed from the browser refresh button, the background image is displayed.

OTHER TIMES the background image is displayed but the mbExtruder's content is not displayed. (POST var's are enabled)

Issue 2:

If you look closely at the menu when it is expanded, the flap's label text is visible in the top left of the menu.

Thank you once again Matteo, i hope we can solve these issues, I really want to use this menu system in my project. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated in solving these issues.

Kind Regards,

Mathew

I make some tests on your demo page and I can repeat the extruder empty bug but not the background one... It seams that, for some unknown reason, some times the http://www.kromosome.net/ryan/parts/extruderLeft.html called via ajax by mb.extruder component return an empty content... and it happens only with safari. You can get it via Safari console > Resources > extruderLeft.html.

Does it happens locally on your computer too? Can you send me a zip file to debug it locally?
